It's got to be said we were lured here by the live football, came here early on a Saturday afternoon for the Arsenal/Man Utd game (it gets VERY busy here and we were lucky to get a table!) Drinks are slightly more expensive the more central you are, when I say "expensive" try less than three quid a pint of local beer!!! Friendly staff, attentive, thought we'd try the food, this can be hit and miss in bars, went for the top of the menu, Fillet Steak...a gamble...was it worth it??
Good lord, yes!! Asked for it medium, cooked to perfection, a superb piece of meat, succulent and juicy, came with fries and a tasty peppercorn sauce, honestly one of the best Steaks I've ever been served!! Also must mention how clean the place was considering how busy it was, someone constantly coming around with a dustpan and brush, small things that show the business cares.
